On Monday, September 23rd, the first day of the Womenswear Spring/Summer 2025 Paris Fashion Week, CFCL presented its second runway show since joining the official calendar in 2022, at the Saut du Loup in the Palais de Tokyo. The runway, colored in a gradation of vitamin orange, echoed with ethnic and contemporary sounds performed by the Slovenian trio Širom. A rich variety of items intersected two-dimensional and three-dimensional, traditional methods and cutting-edge technology, expressing a vision of clothing that seamlessly connects with the world to come.
Flat knitted fabric with negative space, dyed colors with depth, unique contours created by bricolage...CFCL combines 3D computer knitting techniques with human handwork that has been handed down from generation to generation in countries and regions all over the world, creating clothing that is essential for a fulfilling life. We explore the possibilities of Knit-ware, just as we shape pottery by hand.
*All series have no cutting process during production, minimizing waste generation.
*On July 28, 2022, CFCL became the first Japanese apparel company to be certified as a B Corp (Benefit Corporation).
*All garments in this collection, with the exception of silk and nylon, are made of GRS / RCS certified materials. As of VOL.7 (Spring/Summer 2024), 90.52% of
all mass-produced products are made from recycled & regenerated materials that have been certified by a third-party organization as responsible for the global environment and basic human rights. CFCL has set a goal to achieve 100% use of GRS, GOTS, and other certified materials in all mass-produced products by 2030.
*From the first season, LCA has been conducted on some of our products. About 59% of the target was announced by the previous season. We aim to expand the target to all products by 2025, and to be carbon neutral by 2030.
